Well the neighborhood is okay, there isn't too much as far as food or shops within easy walking distance, but that's an old nasty run-down hotel that I would avoid.

 

If you want something real cheap on the beach you would be better off going with the Holiday Inn at Sunrise Blvd. & A1A... http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/fllsb

 

It's old, a bit worn and nothing fancy, but it's cheap (it's been going real cheap on Priceline lately) and a lot better than the HoJo.
