Elation-Late arrival Saturday to JAX

So, we received an email today that due to a medical emergency on the current Elation cruise(they had to go to Grand Turk for someone to get medical attention) they will not arrive at JAX Saturday until 1pm.(possibly later-we'll know more tomorrow). We are on the Saturday cruise out of JAX. I know this happens, but it hasn't happened to us so I'm wondering how bad embarkation is going to be with such a late arrival back to port? We usually try to arrive at the port around 11am, but Carnival is saying for no one to come to the port until they hear from them. Will Platinum and FTTF get notice to arrive earlier than the general passengers, or will everyone just get a time they can come to the port? I fear it is going to be mass chaos.

And now we have to figure out what to do for at least 4 hours after we have to check out of our hotel.

Anyone been through this and can tell me how bad it is going to be?
