Service charges on the UP

The service charges in areas where they use Euros on board increased from 8.5 euros to 9 euros on April 20th.

this is now shown in the UK 2016 - 2017 brochure.

 

IN the UK 2017 - 2018 brochure the service charge in euros areas goes up to 10 euros; and at the same time the areas using USD goes up to $12.5

 

For the euro areas this is a 17.5% rise in 18 months.

 

Euros are used on Antilles cruises (not out of the USA) so the price rise could well affect USA guests sailing out of Barbados , Guadeloupe and Martinique.

I was surprised to see euros being used on Orchestra last month on our 14 night Antilles cruise out of Barbados.
