Waxing and double dipping

Wondering if anybody knows if the spa techs "double dip" when waxing?

 

What I mean is when you are getting a wax done on the ship, do the techs put the wax on the stick, then the area being waxed, then back in the wax again, or do they break the stick in half, or use different sticks when waxing?
