mzlinda Posted May 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2016 A few months ago, I got a casino offer for a discounted room with $100 onboard credit. We're sailing next month on the Glory. I've never had OBC before. How does that work? Does Carnival split it between both guests in the cabin or will the entire amount show up under my account? I've had casino cash before and I know that all comes to me. Just wondering how OBC works??
Kcruiser2014 Posted May 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) My last casino offer with OBC, they split it between the two of us. Edited May 8, 2016 by Kcruiser2014
Jillbu Posted May 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2016 It goes on the person who got the offer. It's a credit on your account.. Any charges that you incur will first be taken from that " credit". If you share charging privileges with another in the cabin, it just gets used up no matter who charges it. If you are sailing with someone other the a person you charge with, make sure they set up their own shipboard account. If you received a Premier offer with actual cash, the person it was awarded to has to present themselves at the casino cashier to get the cash. surfergirl15 Posted June 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 17, 2016 I received $100 on board credit and it was split between my husband and myself. It showed up as a $50 credit on each of our sign and sail accounts. BTW we used separate credit cards.
