don1976 Posted May 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2016 My daughter is fairly picky about what she drinks - she doesn't like carbonated drinks so tends to drink (what we would call in the UK) squash or cordial - namely Roses Lime Juice Cordial. As far as we're concerned (and any definitions we can see on Google), 'Soda' is a just a term for a carbonated drink. Whilst this Cordial isn't technically 'soda', we're not sure if we'd be permitted to bring this aboard. Is the term 'soda' that cruise lines use simply all encompassing term for any soft drink, or are they explicitly referring to carbonated drinks ? Bottom line - will we have a problem bringing a bottle of her Lime on board ?
hawkeyetlse Posted May 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2016 They are only looking out for alcohol. As long as your bottles of squash are commercially labeled and unopened, you'll be fine.

The buffet should have still lemonade too, which she might like. It's a bit sweet so it depends on how strong she takes her squash normally. don1976 Posted May 17, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Thanks all. I wasn't sure if we'd have to try to smuggle her cordial on.
