Palo Brunch - specific question about shoes

Hi all, we're taking our 2nd Disney cruise in November. 4 night Bahamian cruise. We're hoping to enjoy a Palo brunch. We will be packing light, and my DH is concerned with packing a third pair of bulky dress shoes for the Palo brunch. He'll be wearing nice slacks with a belt and a collared Polo shirt. He is bringing nice sneakers (which he WON'T wear to Palo) and a nice pair of closed-toe sandals. I'm telling him the sandals will be fine, but he's worried. But we might have to bring another piece of luggage just for the extra shoes, his feet are that big. Can some of you who have seen people dress for Palo brunch since the change in dress code give me some sense of what kind of shoes men often wear in Palo? The stated Palo dress code does not expressly forbid sandals for men.

Thanks!
