Best deck for balcony

Recommended Posts

Will be cruising on the Island in May, but have not booked yet. I had read a thread on here at one time about which decks are best for balconies - uncovered versus partially covered.... How do you know which deck has which type? I'm quite confused. Thanks your help!

janica,

I can tell you about the Coral, which is the Island's sister ship. I was on the Baja deck in B210 for the Panama Canal last fall and on the Caribe deck in C221 for Alaska this summer---these are minisuites. Both are either partially or fully covered. The good thing about these decks is that you can walk to the front of the ship and go out on the open front deck to view the glaciers and wildlife.

The Coral is my favorite Princess ship---I am sure you will enjoy the Island.
