HMC Stingray Excursion ?

My daughter and I would like to do this excursion. However, my dh doesn't care to participate. Will he be allowed to go and just watch?

I was wondering the same thing. My two boys want to do this, but my husband doesn't swim so he can't do the excursion but would like to watch (plus I don't really want to leave him behind :( ).

I hope someone here has the answer. I may just call Carnival as we get closer to our sailing date.

I have no new info regarding this. We have decided to pass on this excursion. The price went up $5 per person in the past week and after much research it's not really worth it. You don't get to spend much time with the rays.

I was just reading some reviews and the most recent ones aren't so great. I think we are going to pass on it (I just need to break the news to my son who has his heart set on it). We will also be going to Grand Turk, I'm looking into that one (it's more expensive, but seems much better).

It has been over ten years since we did this with our kids but I was very disappointed as the rays were in a pen and they just swim around in circles at quite a fast pace so the kids were a little nervous.

 

I felt so bad for them (both the kids and the rays) as I had been telling them how awesome swimming with the sting rays was as my husband and I had done it in Grand Cayman and it was awesome.
