Montego Bay after Wilma

ANyone know How Montego Bay made out after Wilma. We leave on a cruise Sunday and were wondering about the conditions there.

I am wondering the same thing. We saw on the reports that Jamaica and Grand Cayman were getting hit pretty hard there for a couple of days.

 

Hopefully all is well.

 

Any reporters out there in the field?

I got an email from our excursion company that they faired pretty well in Jamaica and also one from Grand Cayman. They both said lots of rain and some wind but generally they were pretty lucky.

Just returned from Montego Bay. There was some flooding due to the heavy rains that just won't stop. Tours were cancelled but we took a taxi tour. One thing to remember. After a heavy rain the bacteria content is very high at the beaches due to run off from the rivers. You may want to think twice if you see the brown line in the waters off the beach as we did.
