LaceyLady Posted October 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2005 Hi all, Is there anyone out there that knows the directions from St Petersburg, Fl. to Port Canaveral, or where I can go to find them? I know about mapquest but it gives out of the way directions. Thanks for any help you can give. Lacey
chotton Posted October 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2005 The directions on mapquest are good. I just ran the route and it gave the proper directions. It came up with the same route we took when we drove from Venice Florida up to Port Canaveral.

FL Donna Posted October 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2005 We live in St. Pete area also. We followed map quest twice for our last two cruises. We arrived there in like 2 1/2 hours. It is an easy drive and you are there before you know it. My DH might be able to give different directions if you want them let me know. KINGBOBOFTHENORTH Posted October 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2005 TAKE I-275 NORTH from St. Petersburg to downtown Tampa. TAKE I-4 EAST from Tampa through Lakeland to Orlando area. TAKE TOLL SR528 (now called the BEACHLINE Expressway) EAST, past Orlando Airport, past I-95, to Cocoa. (Tolls only in Orange County, becomes SR528 in Brevard County). SR528 Ends at Port Canaveral; Port signage clearly marks all ships departing that day. Exit for the A-terminals as all cruise ships depart from A-terminals, casino boats depart from the B-terminals. TrentS Posted October 23, 2005 #8 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Use Google Maps, you can even "see" where you're going via the satellite feature - Click "Hybrid" to see the roads laid over a satellite pic (it's a few years old, but generally good enough)... http://maps.google.com/ You can zoom in by using the scale on the left, and click and drag your mouse to move the pic around.
