Are you talking about the app that makes them look sort of "cartoonish"?

I Googled "Gambee" and he has a website. Most likely has a way to contact him there.

Yes! I am talking about the "cartoonish" look....I think they look awesome! I have taken many "Caribbean" scenery photo's and would love to turn some of them into this look for FRAMING,

In his review of NCL Escape he mentioned that he gets that 'water color' effect via a setting on his camera.

 

He uses a Sony Alpha A6000 which has an Illustration mode. He mentioned that he set it to "High" I think.

 

Based 'partially' on his review we bought the same camera a week or so ago. I haven't had a chance yet to play with it. :(

 

Someone else uses the camera and gets a cool effect using the "Miniature" mode.

There are lots of smartphone apps that produce the effect Gambee's camera applied to the photos. I agree, they were cool.

 

I purchased ToonCamera for my iPad and iPhone. Cost was $1.99 and it works well. The cartoon effect is a little different than Gambee's camera -- but it's very close.

 

ToonCamera has other effects too, and is easy to use.

I'm not sure which app Gambee uses, hopefully he'll find the time to respond to your request so you can let us know ;)

 

From the various cartoon apps I've seen, I would guess that they wouldn't provide the same effect. The effect he uses has more of a "painter/artist" look.
