Diva70 Posted October 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Hi! Any tips on good places to eat - relatively close to the cruise dock would be nice, but not necessary. We're looking for lunch and/or dinner, preferably on the water somewhere, not too incredibly expensive. THanks! :-) ~Holly

Nassau is where we'll be. :) ~Holly
wdowns9 Posted October 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Try the Poop Deck down at Yacht Haven just past the bridges over to PI. They have their lunch and dinner menu on their site. http://www.thepoopdeckrestaurants.com/WebPages/index.html

cruisin'gal Posted October 24, 2005 #6 Share Posted October 24, 2005 We like going to the fish fry between Arawak Cay and Bay Street. You will find conch fritters and my favorite, cracked conch with hot sauce and an ice cold Klick. Laura
PREGOCRUISER Posted October 24, 2005 #7 Share Posted October 24, 2005 I just got back yesterday. We asked the locals where wer should eat and everyone recommended this place. We took a taxi from the port to Arawak Cay. When the local say it - it sounds like a-wa-ki. We went to Big 10. The people were so nice! There is also an upper deck too. My husband loved the Kalik beer while I enjoyed the BEST virgin drink called a Miami Vice. It is a pina colada on the bottom with strawberry puree on top. This place was awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
