How long does the included tour stay at Pisa?

We want to buy tickets ahead of time to climb the tower. The included tour sounds like it drives around Tuscany before it goes to Pisa. Overall tour is four hours with a forty minutes drive back. Say an hour to load bus? Just wondering how long it takes to get there. Would two hours be reasonable? I think you have to be pretty exact with the tickets. I wish Vikiing offered this. Thank you.

One couple on our tour (Lucca & Pisa) did this, but others were able to purchase tickets after we got there. The tour guide offered to help. We had more than an hour to kill after the guided part of the tour, so i think it would be ok to wait.

Thanks Dancermom. Was it very crowded there when you were there? We will be there early September, so I suspect it may be crowded. Cruisett shows over 10000 passengers in Livorno, hopefully not too many going to Pisa.
