can someone please advise me on which pier QM2 arrives at in Manhattan on her transatlantic crossings as I have to let my car service company know.

your car company will know which pier and what time you actually arrive at the dock just give them the cruise line and ships name. same thing with airlines the car compnies will track flight #s, departures and arrivals. bon voyage

You can also call Cunard a day or two ahead of time. The specific pier depends on what other ships are there.

AFTER RETURNING FROM A CRUISE ON THE QM2 AS I STOOD IN FRONT OF THE TERMINAL AT STREET LEVEL LOOKING UP AT THE BOW OF THE QM2 LURKING OVER 51ST NYC I THOUGHT SHE NEVER LOOKED SO BIG !!!!(HOW DOES IT FLOAT)

Just tell your car service to take you to the New York City Passenger Ship Terminal on 50th and 12th Avenue.

When you see the red funnel on a ship as big as the Empire State Building is tall, you know you found it. In front of the terminal are large signs for the names of the ships that are dockside.

Once you get out of your car and pay the fare, you will get help with your luggage from a porter. Be sure to give them a nice tip for their service. A dollar per bag would be good. Make sure you have your Cunard luggage tags on the luggage you give the porter. Then with your carry-on you can head directly into the terminal for check-in where you will be greeted by a Cunard representative.
