Not a fan of Jacks Shack. It's a shack for sure. Terrible experience there. It is a long way down the beach. When we got there the smell of gasoline was so overwhelming that we all got instant headaches and nausea. We left and will not go back.

I'm really in the minority. GT is my least favorite port. While there is a nice beach and plenty of food and drink whether at Margaritaville or Jack's, I am really bothered by the stray dogs and the way they are treated by the locals. I did see that the Humane Society has a booth in the shopping area just beyond the cruise terminal, but it was never manned. GT is on our itinerary in May 2017 but we won't be getting off the ship.
