Caribbean Princess mini suite-guarantee

??? presently we are booked for a catagory AD-guarantee, should we wait or book a specific mini-suite on the emerald deck....1st time cruisers on Princess.

That depends on if you WANT 1 of the 12 Emerald Deck Mini-Suites or not. If you want a covered balcony, I would say to request a specific cabin and be sure to indicate "NO upgrades"

 

If you leave it as a guarantee, chances are good you will be upgraded and move to the fully exposed balconies on the Dolphin Deck.

leave it, all are about the same, just different location. we've always done guareentee!! always been upgrated several catagories.

I booked a mini-suite, category AD gty, and was upgraded to a full suite. I now am a believer of "gty."

We booked a gty AE and within one week were upgraded to category AA -- with a few months still to go we are hoping to get upgraded again!!
