ceeceebat Posted February 17, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Looking for thoughts on the Thermal Suite on the Dawn? Any photos? Is it worth it? HI! Husband and I bought the spa passes for the cruise we went on in October, here are my thoughts: Pros- Usually quite, the most people in the spa/pool area at one time were about 8. everything was clean, assortments of tea/coffee and lemon water available Spa staff was very friendly and by the second day new my husband and I by name twinkle lights over the lap pool were nice, I would just float and stare at them if no one was using the pool for it's intended purpose of swimming laps. MUCH less crowded than the main pool deck. As I said the average amount of people there were 3-4 the most around 8. "quite rooms" were the best part, floor to ceiling windows facing the aft, comfy chairs and pleasantly warm but not uncomfortably so. Cons- Sea days were naturally busier than port days and those heated ceramic loungers went quick aforementioned loungers are not terribly comfortable if you have lordosis like I do sharing hot tubs with strangers can get awkward, especially when one of them follows you and your husband around the spa area (we think he was a harmless weirdo, but it was awkward enough that we went back to our room) . you surrender your key card in exchange for a silicone wrist band, after an hour of hot tub and baking like a lizard on a heat rock on those loungers i was so relaxed i almost walked out of the spa without my key card...that may not be a complete con though :D
