ChipFire Posted July 29, 2016 #26 Share Posted July 29, 2016 The pride was our first and only cruise to date . 1st cruise and omg we did a balcony and it was great I won at bingo 2times 750 and 1000 everything on this ship is great .we are going on the conquest in late august but I have booked a surprise Christmas cruise on the pride for this dec. I truly dig this ship its size, its ports, and its employees
sararebekahquinn Posted July 29, 2016 #27 Share Posted July 29, 2016 We just booked for the Pride next summer. Not sure why we have not tried it yet, since we live in Maryland. It is so encouraging to read all of the positive comments! Thank you.
SurferJoe57 Posted August 1, 2016 #28 Share Posted August 1, 2016 I just love the Spirit class ships they are the best by far I sure wish that carnival would build a few more of them and stop sending that class of ship some ere else Sadly they've moved past that design onto the larger, "more efficient" ships (Vista) - the Spirit classes are very useful to CCL though, as they fit under bridges in key markets Carnival doesn't want to cede - Baltimore, Sydney, and on occasion, Tampa. I will note that the Spirit class ships are generally very well liked by seasoned crew members - who interestingly also favor the older Fantasy class as well. My only comment as a passenger is that these skinny Finnish hulls tend to wiggle a big more than the broader Italian ships. Sad, but the trend will be bigger ships that pack in more passengers with a more profitable Crew:Passenger ratio.
FrogFritter Posted August 1, 2016 #29 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Love the Pride and it's close to home but when looking for April break it was $1200 more for us so we decided to try the Magic instead. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
