FLL Holiday Inn Beach

According to the number that Holiday Inn has provided for hurricane questions (see holiday inn website--there is a section called "hurricane updates")--they have had no contact with the hotel due to phone lines being down and no power--they do not think that there will be any new news for a few days. I am a bit worried as we are staying there Nov 6--but perhaps things will be up and running by then? If not then what? Also this was booked through priceline so that may throw a wrench into things..

The beach is still closed to non-residents. I don't know what the status is of that hotel.

I'm cruising with a group of 24 and we all had reservations at that the FLL Holiday Inn Beach hotel for November 4th. Today we were told that the hotel would be closed for a minimum of 2 weeks. We're now trying to locate another hotel.....

Seriously! Oh my--i'd better call around some then...does anyone have any estimates for when the port will be open again? Because if we are indeed going out of Miami I will book a hotel there.....

Port Everglades reopened this morning, as did FLL.

Hotel website says it will reopen on November 7.

Saw that---too bad we were supposed to stay there the night of the 6th! I just hope I can find something open that is under $150
