TRISHNBRAD Posted October 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2005 On Glory last New Years it was announced about 1/2 way thru the cruise that New Years Eve would be a formal night, most people got dressed up. There was a "gala dinner" with a special 2005 cake. The room stewards put streamers and masks and stuff in our room, then there was a big party on the deck. We had a blast, I know you will too. Boston6 Posted October 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2005 Yes, there was a 3rd formal night. We didn't dress up for it. If they have it, try the lobster thermidor. It was absolutely great.
serene56 Posted October 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2005 Thats a tough call. New Years eve is on Saturday and you arrive back in the home port the next morning. Cant imagine packing and getting ready to get off the ship the next day when I have to get all duded out. Im curious on how this will be done too.
