Freeport: Taino Beach or Lucaya Beach?

I'm wondering if anyone has been to both Taino and Lucaya Beach and which is better for families? We have 11 kids 3-9 yrs old in our group and want the best kid-friendly place. Thanks for your help!

I've not been to Lucaya, but Carnival offers a beach day excursion to Tanio and we really enjoyed it. It's s 30 ride from port and options included beach, beach + bar, beach + bar + food. There were a few vendors, the food was good, drinks were nice and service excellent. It's a nice beach with a few activities, clean and you can walk to more secluded areas if you want to get away from the crowd. We will do it again sometime.

We enjoyed Junkanoo Beach club on Tiano Beach. Couple bucks to get in, couple dollars to rent chairs, but bathrooms are clean and acceptable. Kids enjoyed playing in the surf and there were jet skis, banana boat, etc... down the beach if you can handle the prices :eek:
