Inside Guarantee - Cabin not yet assigned.

Has anyone had this problem? I'm flying to Copenhagen in 1-1/2 days and as of tonight I still do not have a cabin assignment. Another person on my cruise who was also waiting has gotten her cabin. I have never done a guarantee before. Is is common for a person to have to wait until boarding to get an assigned cabin?

Not common, also not a problem. You will get assigned at the pier. Check personalizer, if not there, it is ok, they will have a cabin for you at pier check in desk, understandable to worry but not to panic. Princess would have contacted you if there WASN'T a cabin for you.

I just checked cruise personalizer again tonight and still no cabin. We leave tomorrow afternoon so I will have a chance to check one more time. Thanks for your help. At least I am not in a panic about it. I guess you are right, they would definitely get in touch with us if they DIDN'T have a room for us. Thanks again.

Thanks, Srphnx. I just checked the cruise personalizer (a few hours before we leave) and I do have a cabin number. Since I booked an inside guarantee, it is just where I thought it would be and that's okay. I had been watching the price of the cabins for about a month and when it dipped down considerably we jumped at it. We got what we thought was a really good price. Thanks again.
