best time to arrange shuttle - Galveston

I am in the process of getting my groups shuttle service reserved and paid for. What would be a good time to have them pick us up? They currently have it scheduled for 1pm, but that seems a bit late and i don't really want to wait around with luggage for a couple hours.

 

If this is the only time I can get, what can be done around the port area? I don't want to have to worry about a cab as I will have a group of 13 and 2 children and luggage to worry about.

I see no reason for such a late pickup.

If you do self assist you will be off the ship and through ICE by 8am.

Even picking up luggage after disembarking, you should be through no later than 11am, probably much earlier.

Thanks for the reply. This was my thinking as well. The 1pm pickup just leave a lot of our day of nothing but waiting.

If this is all i cam get, what would be the best course of action for the waiting?
