Tahitian Princess-Cabin 8001

Was on the Oct 11 in 8001. Good cabin and normally quiet. A few afternoons was some noise from the gym. It was actually the bass from the boom box that sits on the floor right over the room. I talked to the gym person and they turned down the bass. Later I suggested that they think of placing the boom box elsewhere than on the floor. At first I thought it was pounding from the treadmills, but it is not.

Also one morning someone called for room service(there number is 9001)

Other than that it was a great room. Prior cruise we were in like 8054 or 56 and there was more traffic there. The only traffice you will have is staff going towards the bridge and officer's qtrs. and they all are quiet.

We were in cabin 8001 on the Oct 1 cruise and would have stayed there for the Oct 11 cruise if Donna had not booked it first. We, too, liked the cabin. We did hear some noise from the spa upstairs and thought it was the treadmills being used and we're glad to hear it was the bass since that can be easily fixed. Otherwise, this is a very quiet cabin, the balcony feels very private since there is a solid wall on one side, and it's convenient for the stairs and elevator without being too near. We thought the cabin steward, Gabriel, was exceptionally good. We moved to a AA cabin, mid-ship, for the Oct 11 cruise. We did not feel any less motion from the ship in this mid-ship cabin than we did in the forward cabin and although it was an excellent cabin we probably liked 8001 better.
