Need Regal Princess Cabin Advice

We are new to Princess and need help from all you experienced cruisers with regard to inside cabins on Regal Princess. Have you had a good experience with a particular cabin or deck? Conversely, is there a cabin or deck we should stay away from? We would appreciate your help as we will be booking soon. Thanks all!

Don't know about the inside but we have done an outside twice once on the Baja and another on the Caribe. No problem there and we were in a balcony on the Baja once. I understand the cabins on all decks are larger than normal. (190 sq. ft. I think). Suitcases go behind the drapery easily. We were on the sister "Crown Princess" before it went to another market and enjoyed it as well.

As you know many people prefer midship which is where we are usually located and the ride is good.

I doubt that you could go wrong with any cabin since you are booking the inside.

Enjoy

We have sailed on both the Crown and Regal inside. On the Crown we were on Aloha aft and on the Regal Aloha forward. We thought aft was smoother. We are sailing inside Baja 274 on 6-05-04. I agree with previous poster, the Regal's inside cabins are very nice. Lots of storage and plenty of room. I never felt closed in, only problem was the drapes on the wall for the first few days. We kept trying to open them. You will like the Regal.

DesertDaisy, my sister and I will be right down the block from you, in cabin B262 on June 5th. Maybe we'll run into you on board. Was hoping for an upgrade, but looks like not meant to be.

Hi jsiegel,
I am very excited! Have you sailed Regal before? We are sailing with family. Parents, 3 brothers and spouses, 1 sister and spouse and us. We are at 1st seating as it is better for parents and they arranged this cruise. I'll knock at least to say hello! desert daisy

DesertDaisy, we've got first seating too (same reason)

My parents and my sister sailed the Regal last fall on the New England/Canada route. They liked the ship. I believe they had inside cabins. They commented about how large they were (compared to others) and how much storage space there was.

My sister and I are treating the folks for their anniversary, so while we have an inside, we got them an outside (though not a balcony)
