Where do they bring the luggage?

I am cruising in May 27th on the Princess Diamond (Vancouver to Whittier) and was told that they bring the luggage to the Egan Center or the Airport depending on what you are doing after the cruise. If it goes to the airport, how long do you have to claim it? We are flying out about midnight so we may take a tour from Whittier or rent a car and may not get to the airport until about 9PM. Is that to late to pick up our luggage? I would not want them to close down and not be able to have it in time for my flight home.

I don't know the answer to that question, Cathy, but also need the answer. While Mike and I will be boarding the train to Denali, our two grown children will fly out of Anchorage nonstop to LAX on the midnight+ Alaska Air flight. They want to see some of Anchorage and surrounding area that day.
