budaman Posted October 31, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2005 Just got back from GC and the first night there we stayed at the Courtyard. The Hotel is across the street from the beach, but there are no buildings blocking the view. The beach itself is very nice and there is a Red Sail Sports facility both in the hotel and on the beach. The hotel is towards the west end of SMB so there is not as much developement in that section. The day we stayed there, the waves were in the 6 - 8 ft range because of Wilma so there wasn't much activity going on anywhere along SMB. I have posted a few pictures I took from the beach on our old M&M thread that's still active(Rhapsody, April 24) that will show you what it looked like and hope to have our webpage updated by the end of the week.
