Best shuttle for Hobby Airport to Galveston?

We are traveling on the Carnival Freedom on October 29th and need to book our transportation to and from the airport.

Galveston Limo appears to be the cheapest and would only cost $60 for the 3 of us to get to our hotel, but our flight arrives at Hobby airport at 1:30 on Friday and their departure times are 1:30 and 3:30. We don't particularly want to spend our first 2 hours in Texas in the Hobby airport waiting for a 3:30 limo departure time . (Galveston Express is $85 and leaves at 3:00)

 

After the cruise we plan to carry our own luggage off the ship. Our current Southwest flight leaves for Phoenix at 2:20pm, but we would really like to try and catch the earlier 11:50 flight if possible. (Just too chicken to actually book the 11:50 flight:rolleyes:) We were thinking of booking the 7:30am Galveston limo from the cruise port. (Galveston Express is $85 and does not have a pick up until 9:00)

 

I've seen a couple of questionable posts regarding both limo companies lately, but we do have room to spare if something should come up with them - or with customs getting off the ship.

Just wondering if anyone else found some good options or feels strongly one way or the other.
