MSC alegrissimo child drink package for adults?

Hello.

I'm going on a 14 nights cruise in November and I've been thinking about the best solution with drink packages.

Since it is a long cruise, the "alegrissimo adult" becomes too expensive and I don't really like the "meal packages".

So, I was wondering if an adult can buy the alegrissimo child drink package.. That way I can have a drink anytime I want (during meals, in the afternoon, at the bar). I don't mind not drinking alcohol. Is this possible, or is there a better solution?

Thank you in advance!
