Carnival Glory standard balcony stateroom question

Hello,

Just wondering if all "standard" balcony staterooms are all the same size regardless of which deck they are located. Also, are there any disadvantages of staterooms located near / behind stairwells?

Any insights????

Thanks

Deck is not a factor in stateroom size for standard rooms . The variable may come about with the oddball stateroom that is, for example, on the curve at the aft.

Proximity to stair can be a problem. I personally would not book a room with a shared wall to stairs. Crew stairs have doors that bang and public stair have inconsiderate people that yell at 4 AM. Not saying it will happen but I also wouldn't take the chance.
