why does the location of the bed matter?

I also agree that it isn't a deal-breaker about where the bed is placed....

 

BUT I do feel that the bed by the closets creates a bottleneck as soon as you walk into the room. Since there is very little clearance between the foot of the bed and the vanity, it seems as if you immediately walk into a bottleneck if the bed is near the bathroom/closets.

 

I prefer the bed by the balcony but don't usually go to the trouble of ferreting out any particular configuration.

 

Same here. Cabin seems larger when the bed is by the Balcony. And I always sleep on that side. DH usually stays up to watch TV later than me and he can move around the cabin easier with this configuration😸

I guess it might be mobility challenges, but for me it is personal plumbing challenges! :D

 

With the sound of the ocean may make it more so ;-).

This will be our first cruise and never thought about where my bed will be as long as we have one. But interesting reading.:D
