Transportation between MIA and Poet

I'm cruising NCL Sun in February out of Miami. Booked my own air. Does anyone know the set up at the Miami port. Are their shuttles to MIA airport and/or plentiful cabs? Does anyone know how far the port is from the airport?

A Taxi is your best bet if you haven't booked an NCL transfer. Ther are no shuttles per-se. It's about a twenty to twenty-five minute drive from the airport to the port depending on the traffic. Should be no more than $25.00, but fuel prices have gone up since I last made the trip.;)

It is my understanding that Taxi Cabs charge a flat rate of 21.00 from the airport to the port.
