Viking Star Viking Homelands cruise; it had all I wanted. by fair weather golfer This is not a family cruise ship, it is not an all singing all dancing entertainment ship, there is no dressing up and having your photo taken, it is a relaxing and informative. The cabins all with balconies are simple contemporary Scandinavian, light woods and nautical colours. Bed was comfy. The bathroom was superb, with heated tiled floor. Continue reading...Viking Homelands cruise; it had all I wanted.

Celebrity Reflection Excellent Cruise by Weboos2 We had a classic drinks package which was perfectly adequate for us with a good choice of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. Speciality coffees were also included. There was a little hard sell to upgrade to premium, but this only lasted till the next day. We dined in the main dining room on select dining, which worked very well, having booked our dining time on line before we left. We managed to get the same table every night, so we were able to enjoy the same waiters and sommelier every night. They were very efficient and polite. If you wanted more, you only had to ask. There are photographers but they aren't in your face all the time. They actually did us some really nice pictures. The Captain was brilliant too having met him for a chat twice plus he did an evening in the Antrim bar where he and his officers mingled with the guests. Continue reading...
