Carnival Legend Alaska Glacier Bay Excursion

We have an Alaskan cruise booked for June of next year on the Carnival Legend. The current itinerary has us cruising Glacier Bay National Park. I have read many posts of people taking an 'excursion' from the cruise ship to the glacier but I have not found any way to book this. Maybe this is only available in Misty Fjords?

 

I called my travel agent and Carnival and they have no idea :confused:

If you're in Glacier Bay what would you want to see other than the scenic. Raising the ship does.

The excursion you are thinking of is for Tracy Arm/Sawyer Glaciers.

 

Misty Fjords is in Ketchikan and doesn't have glaciers.

 

If your travel agent is so clueless that they can't answer this question, it may be time for a new travel agent. ;)

Thanks for the info. I figured there had to be a simple explanation. I just didn't want to miss out on reservations if I had missed something.

 

My travel agent has been good so far but this time she told me to check with Carnival. :)

There isn't a Glacier Bay excursion, it is scenic cruising from the cruise ship.
