FTTF and new Sign & Sail Procedure

You don't get your Sign and Sail card when you check in . It is in your mail box when you get to your cabin. You use your boarding pass to get on the ship and pay for drinks until you get to your cabin,

I don't like this new procedure.

What if you have a slow cabin steward and the cards aren't placed in your mailbox when you arrive at your cabin?

Nope! Not a fan of this at all.

I wonder why it is being changed ?

If the cards are not in the mailbox that means that your room is not ready for you to enter.

I'm pretty sure that they have changed it because people don't respect that they are not allowed to enter their room before it's ready. To many "just need to drop off bags" is distracting the steward and then everything slows down. This way the stewards can work without having to deal with people who are not suppose to be in the hallway.

THIS.....

You can thank all the people that brag about the fact that they do not need to buy FTTF to get into cabin early, have had many people tell us we are stupid for paying for FTTF until we are platinum cuz all you have to do is push open the doors and go straight to your cabin anyway. There you go....

I was trying to figure out the reasoning for the change and this makes perfect sense!
