iteachkids Posted November 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2005 Our cave tubing with Major Tom ***** in Belize was one of (if not the) highlights of our trip. The whole family, ages 7 to 67, was taken care of by Major Tom from the moment the tender arrived at the pier, (he was waiting with a sign) until he delivered us back safely 5 or 6 hours later with plenty of time to spare. His van was new and in good condition (with AC!). We saw two or three other tour vehicles broken down on the road. Major Tom was extremely interesting and more than that, very knowledgeble about Belize, the Maya, the countryside and the caves he took us through. He took more time to explain the caves and the rain forest than the other tours that passed us by. Major Tom showed us places of interest they didn't get to see. We felt very safe and the tour was fantastic with a delicious and inexpensive lunch following at the small restaurant at the park site ($5 for bbq & fixings). We highly recommend Major Tom's "Adventures Belize *****" at www.*****. Great fun and about half the price of the cruise ship excursion.
