Bugs, bites and allergies

This may be an odd question but what experiences have people had at this port with insects, bugs, bites and allergies. Of course we plan on bringing and using bug spray but curious what I need to watch out for since I am highly allergic to bee stings etc. (I did read to watch out for fire ants).

 

I plan on having my Epi pen on me as well as benedryl just in case...but I want to make sure I have all my bases covered. Also any allergic reactions from people who have gone tubing?

We really didn't see any bugs or have any issues when cave tubing, including the walk through the forest. I don't think it's normally a big problem and have never seen a bee on an excursion anywhere, but it is still best for you to be protected, of course.
