theman007 Posted November 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Hi All, We are struggling to determine the best way to get from our South Beach hotel in Miami to Port Everglades for our cruise next year Any help would be appreciated. Our scenario is as such: 1. We will not have a car 2. We arrive in Miami on the 7th April 3. Our cruise leaves from Ft Lauderdale on the 9th of April 4. We want to stay in Miami as we have never been. How far is the port from South Beach? What shuttle services are available? Would a cab ride be just as easy? Your help is much appreciated Dan and Mary
TrentS Posted November 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2005 South Beach to Port Everglades is a 45-60 minute drive depending on traffic, longer during rush hour. A cab ride would be easy, but quite expensive and not very comfortable over that distance. Roughly $75-90. I would get a limo or TownCar, the cost would be similar and it would be much more comfy! We use Larry's Limo... http://www.larryslimo.com/ Tri-County/Airport Express... http://www.floridalimo.com/ Or you could also try SuperShuttle... http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/mia.htm
