Any Recs for FLL Post Cruise Lodging/Dining to Celebrate 25th anniv?

Any recommendations for a post cruise lodging in FLL in February? I’m looking for a nice place to end our vacation (first cruise, so I’m sure it will be hard to top the ship). We’re staying over an extra day so we’ll have time to either explore or possibly sit out next to a pool area and decompress and prepare for our trip home. Our flight doesn’t leave until late afternoon the day after our cruise so we’ll have a bit of time to relax or go see more sights in FLL (we’re coming in a day early and staying at the Holiday Inn Convention Center pre cruise). While price is a consideration, I really would like to stay in nice/upscale place for the final night of our vacation. Your suggestions are really appreciated. Thanks!

I'd stay away from the Hyatt Pier 66... pretty bad reviews lately (even prior to the hurricane)... by far.. .if you want a romantic... upscale hotel, look at The Pillars at New River Sound... You can even make arrangments for a special, private dinner... It is a great smaller, elegant hotel... Happy Anniverary!!! http://www.pillarshotel.com/
