Freeport - Junkanoo Beach Resort update?

Has anyone been to the Freeport Junakanoo Beach Resort in the past few weeks (post hurricane)? Can you give me an idea of the situation there? Still worth going? Conditions etc? Thanks in advance!

we were thinking of going there too on our Jan 22 cruise. We were there last year and enjoyed it. I did read a recent review on Trip Advisor and the person bashed it. Ughhhhh....

We were there in June....then again in November post hurricane, and I can say there is no difference between the two times. If you know what to expect you will not be disappointed.

 

The only difference was in November they had port-a-potties because the bathroom was closed. But we didn't use it before....and didn't use it this time either.

 

We drank....snorkeled (saw 2 stingrays) and played in the sand.....all for free....not the beer.....but you get the idea.

I think we'll head there as long as the weather permits. It's currently showing rain for that day but I hope that it's way too far out to predict ;)

Was just there on the 6th. We did a sailboat excursion so had to take a bus through part of the island and there were quite a few spots with damage. The port area seemed fine. We loved the sailboat excursion!
