Ship excursions Vietnam

 Share

Recommended Posts

We are stopping at Phu My on our cruise in June on Voyager. The ship has 2 excursions one called Panoramic of Ho Chi Minh City at £31.98 which appears to be a part tour, part on your own. There is then another called Saigon on your own which is exactly what it says, drop off then on your own for the day then pick up. Cost £37.52. Does anyone know what these excursions entail as the cost and content of the excursions make no sense to me!

Thanks in advance

I would be confirming the cost of the "Saigon on your own". As we had been to Vietnam before, we took this excursion which essentially took us into the city (takes about an hour or so from where we docked) and then picked us up at an allocated spot before returning us to the ship. It took 8 hours. It suited us and it is very easy to get around Saigon. The Vietnamese Visa we got whilst on board the Mariner OTS..
