Fort Lauderdale Hotel Question

Has anyone stayed at the Ramada Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise port? Any comments on your satisfaction would be appreciated. We may book there prior to our Christmas cruise on the Sun.

It's not close to either the airport or port, is a nasty old motel in a nasty part of town surrounded by freeways with nothing to walk to.

 

You would be well advised to avoid all of the State Road 84 motels.

 

SE 17th Street is the best location for cruisers. SE 17th Street is a very safe area less than 10 minutes from the airport and just outside the entrance to Port Everglades with dozens of restaurants, shops, grocery, drug & liquor stores as well as the very popular Water Taxi all within safe easy walking distance of all the hotels...
