Question about the Embassy Suites Hotel Miami - International Airport

Hi,

 

For whatever reason there seems to be more choices in Miami for the night before my Jan 21 cruise then in Ft. Lauderdale and much cheaper. Since I'm sailing out of the port of Miami I was thinking about staying there instead.

 

Can anyone tell me if the Embassy Suites Hotel Miami - International Airport is in a good area or not. I can stay there for almost $40 cheaper than I can in FLL and they have a cruise package that offers free transfers to the port of Miami.

Can anyone tell me if the Embassy Suites Hotel Miami - International Airport is in a good area or not.

 

 

It's about 1/2 a mile from the airport. The area is not bad, atypical for an airport neighborhood. I attended a seminar there once and found it to be a decent property. ;)
