Rent a Car in Skagway and drive where?

I was in Skagway two years ago and took the train ride. It gave me some ideas where to go if I had a car. One place would be the old grave yard in Skagway. Lots of history and interesting people buried there. Also if you were to follow

the train tracks you would get into some beautiful country that would be neat to see in a car. If you go outside of Skagway I'm sure you would see lots of wildlife as well.

We rented a car from Avis in Skagway last summer and drove up to Emerald Lake. It was an amazing drive. You can stop at any of the many lookouts along the way.

When you cross back into the US you do need a passport or birth certificate. Your DL is NOT ENOUGH to prove US citizenship.
