I see that you are still looking for a Boston pre cruise hotel. Unfortunately for your Oct 5 date prices are insane.

 

My advice for today is to consider making a cancellable reservation at the Doubletree Bayside, 240 Mt. Vernon St, Boston (this is actually in the Dorchester area not too far from the pier). The rate is about $222 plus tax if you join the Hilton Honors club and a little less if you are an AAA member or senior. This hotel offers a Logan Airport shuttle as well as a Black Falcon pier shuttle.

 

This will give you the peace of mind of having a hotel reservation while you continue to explore other options and monitor prices.
