Cell and Internet service in South America

Hi everyone, we are booked on the Infinity March 5th from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso and must stay connected for work (we run our own business). Could anyone provide insight if there is cell reception and what the internet speed is like? Much appreciated.

Hi,

Internet on the ship is very expensive. When you go into ports, you can usually follow the crew to find free or for a small fee wifi. You must also consider if your connection for work related wifi will be secure.

As far as your cell service, check with your provider. I've got Verizon and they have packages for different travel areas. Good luck and enjoy your cruise. Hopefully you will not have too much work to do so you can enjoy!
