Balmoral Island Beach Break Norwegian Escape

I just got off the Escape, great trip, awesome ship! My husband and I booked the Balmoral Island Bech Break through NCL. There were several other ships in port yesterday when we had this tour booked for.

 

The meeting time was listed as 12:15, the tour operators did not get us on a ferry until 1:10--almost an hour in the hot sun with no explanation...We finally board this awful little ferry and the tour operator was very annoying. He made a few sexual comments to a young girl from Sweden which made many of us uncomfortable. He also specifically asked each of us for tips--going up to each person with his hat out.

 

I get the tipping thing, but I do not like to be pushed into it. Tipping is for exceptional service--not bullies...

 

Anyway the beach was small, crowded and not anything as described. NEVER AGAIN will I book this tour. I am so glad I did not have my daughter with me on this tour- I would have felt awful to expose her to such harassment as the young girl from Sweden had to endure.

 

You go on these tours, save up to treat yourself and your family to a nice trip and then get stuck as captives to whomever they send to pick you up..
