What time should we get to Port Everglades?

We'll be cruising on the Century 12/15/05 and since it's our first time on Celebrity, I was wondering what time is ideal to get to to the port to avoid long lines? We'll be traveling with my parents and my Dad can not stand for long periods of time. Are there chairs or benches available while waiting?

We were able to board about 11:00. Have your TA call Celebrity and see about priority boarding. We are able to do this on RCI due to standing issues. You may be able to get this for your dad.

We usually get there about 11:30 or 12:00 and have never waited in line. It is late enough that the early rush is over, but early enough that the folks flying in that day are not there yet.

 

Of course this all depends on when they clear the ship, but so far it has worked just fine.
