Question for my BC friends...

...I have just made arrangements to be in Vancouver in early September, Wed-Sun, on business. I am staying at the Hyatt downtown. I think I find myself with Saturday free. How far from the Hyatt is the cruise ship pier? Can I walk? Are there likely to be ships in??

I am quite excited to be going to Vancouver, it is my first trip west of SS Marie in Canada. I have been to San diego and Los Angeles in the US...somehow I think the mountains will be an experience.

The hyatt hotel is only a few blocks to Canada Place. Easy walking.
The weather during September is usually very nice.
